Writing for finding yourself.

I go to the writing seminar a year ago in the university convention hall, I meet Indonesian writer and people from publishing company as a guest speaker. They tell me a lot of think about writing, on how we should use a creative writing instead of repetition writing (I think a great example of repetition writing is when you ask by your teacher in SD/Elemental school to write a story about your vacation in your grandmother house). The seminar is great, but the most important thing I got from this seminar is the truth that more I write, more I can understand about myself.

When I write something I feel that some part of me become a story, some of my pass, my fear or something about me that sometimes I hide it from myself (but it always a part of me, not all of me, I'm a fictional book writer : D ). Maybe this one reasons why writing is so fun, we maybe can find some answer about ourself. To play a hide and seek about yourself. Although many question about myself can't be explain by writing a story, but for me,It's a great learning (and more fun than learning in schools) process about myself :).
